Rev. Dr. C.T. Vivian's cameo on The Quad
Did you know that Atlanta have a new television series that began filming last year titled "The Quad"? It's about the drama filled lives of students and faculties at a fictitious HBCU called GAMU. Set location is at AU Center's Morehouse and Morris Brown College .
Georgia A&M (GAMU) first episode featured one of Atlanta's living
legends, Rev. Dr. T.C. Vivian, who is not only a civil rights treasure and a friend of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr; but President Obama honored him with the Presidential Metal of Freedom in 2013.
Dr. C.T. Vivian is not only a living civil rights hero, but he is also a good friend of Atlanta's Empire Board of Realtist . So in honor of Black History month, it was nice to see "The Quad" s write Dr. C. T. Vivian into their first episode "The Movie".
